FBLA
KICKOFF
Welcome to Ponderosa FBLA
October 20 • 9:45 AM • Room 162
October 20 • 9:45 AM • Room 162
This is a kickoff — not a lecture.
Events, meetings, competition, participation, recognition.
Choose how you want to participate — including leadership.
Every student gets into the FBLA system today.
Think of it as a platform for competition, leadership, and doing things around the school.
Choose an event, prepare for it, and compete if you want to.
Help make decisions, organize people, and run the chapter.
Build activities, promotions, contests, and schoolwide events.
Show up, help out, and earn credit for what you contribute.
There is no single “right” way to be involved.
Get into the system
Pick an event or role
Homeroom meetings & activities
Promote, create, lead, serve
Track what you accomplished
Compete because you want to — not because you have to.
Simple, predictable, and during the school day.
These are the jump-start. The rest belongs to you.
FBLA promotes it, runs it, tracks results, and awards prizes.
Create short, fun videos about FBLA and why students should get involved.
FBLA sets the criteria, promotes the event, votes as a team, and chooses the winner.
Everything below gets us to December 8.

5–10 MINUTESThis is how we keep track of your FBLA experience.
We know which competitive event(s) you want to participate in.
We can tell what has been paid and what still needs attention.
Meetings, school activities, service, and chapter involvement can be tracked.
You get recognition for what you actually do instead of it getting lost.
